List of building materials for the wooden dummy blacksilk style

For the main corpus I used a garden pole 9cm x 9 cm of 2m height. That would be approximately 3.6 inches x 3.6 inches and 6,5 feet high. It cost me about 8 Euro.

For the two shoulders and the leg I used a square garden pole of the same height with a square measure of 7cm x 7 cm (2,8 inches x 2,8 inches). Also 8 Euro.

Both are standard sizes to be found in every hardware store. They are already coated to withstand outdoor conditions.

I used a zinc coated steel stand to hold the main corpus. That was the most expensive single item. It cost me 49 Euros.

The upper shoulder was measured to match my own shoulder width and cut accordingly. The arms of the dummy where cot to match the length of my forearm. The upper arm pair which I mounted on the upper shoulder has an inner distance of one fist width, the outer distance are two of my own fists. I have used only standard items from he hardware store. Nothing fancy at all.

In the fotos you will see that the groundplate of the stand has a hole in it. I used an 8 inch standard screw to fix the dummy in the ground of my garden. This fixates the dummy in place so that it withstands the training, but it can easily be unscrewed and so the dummy is removable.
