We took on the North Coast Trail, one of the most remote and raw multi-day hikes in all of Canada — and honestly, it might have been the most beautiful, muddy, soul-resetting experience we’ve ever had.

Over 4 days, we hiked nearly 80 km through deep Pacific Northwest forest, pebble beaches that go on forever, knee-deep mud, creeks, rope sections, and remote campsites where the only sounds are crashing waves and eagles overhead. We crossed rivers by cable car, saw black bears hunting breakfast across from our tent, and ended each day with tired feet and full hearts.
