Kreutzer Etude #8, Practice Guide (Bow Patterns, Sautille)

Описание к видео Kreutzer Etude #8, Practice Guide (Bow Patterns, Sautille)

(Etude Themes: Bow Patterns, Sautillé)

This video offers some suggestions for how to practice Kreutzer Etude #8.

Along with Kreutzer #2, Kreutzer #8 is one of the most famous of the Kreutzer Etudes. We'll use it as a review of all the technique learned in Etudes 2-7, and we'll also introduce the sautillé stroke. According to the Kreutzer study guide of Edith Winn, Professor Joseph Joachim recommended this etude as "the finest example of varied bowings in existence." Enjoy!
