Additional details on how fast you can charge your Bosch 36v ebike battery with just a Genasun GVB-8 solar charger and a couple of light-weight portable solar panels.

It has been confirmed, you can achieve the same charging current 6A as the Bosch AC fast charger!

The highest current you can go is 6.03A before the internal BMS within the Bosch ebike battery cuts off. If this happens, you will need to power down the +5V DC power supply and turn it on again to restart the charging process.

As can be seen, I have covered up some of the solar panels to reduce the solar output just so it is just under this Max current limit

Overall, I am extremely happy with this solution as it is not only highly portable but super efficient.
The GENASUN GVB-8 runs at extreme high efficiency of 96-98% and generates virtually no heat at all, unlike your typical BOSCH AC charger that gets pretty hot during operation. In terms of energy efficiency, the GENASUN is better than the BOSCH charger. You get the fastest possible charging times and you don't need to carry any heavy batteries 👍👍👍

Some technical data:
Panel input: 7.32A at 32.49V producing 237.8W
Battery charing current: 6.03A at 40.30V producing 243.0W
During the final phase of charging when the BOSCH battery indicator is flashing between 4 and 5 LEDs, the charging current is restricted back to 1.15A at 41.79V outputting 48W. The GENASUN LED is light up solid GREEN.
