🌊💅🏼 Ocean inspired Short Nails on my little Cousin Roxy 🌊💅🏼

Hey, guys welcome to the Kirsty Meakin YouTube Channel! We are going to be working on Roxy’s set today and doing dome ocean-inspired nails for her while she is on Holliday.

We are going to be using some gold leaf today from Nailed by Lucy and this is a very special gold leaf because it has rainbow colours in it and that's the bit that Roxy wants so I’m going to fish some of that out of the little bag.

I'm going to be sculpting today using the Kirsty Meakin sculpting forms ill tare off the length of the form because we won’t need all that for this set
Then ill pop the tab on the back roll it between my fingers and then close the form, now ill have to do a bit of jiggery to get it to fit on Roxy’s flat nails, there is a couple of ways we can do that we can either take off the wings of the form or we can cut the tab in half and place that across those wings and that should do the trick for yah!

Now I’m going to prime the nails using the Glitterama Power Bond Acid Primer the ill apply a thin layer of clear acrylic to the nail as a base next ill use the Skin Deep acrylic and place that in the cuticle area coming down at an angle now I’m going to be using Alice Blue, Bubblegum, And white Acrylic for this design and ill marble those in the same angle we created with the Skin Deep acrylic, Now I have a glittery acrylic called blue angel and ill use a little of that to fill in that gap between my Skin Deep and the Marble Mix.

Now it's time to use this beautiful Gold Leaf so I'll start by applying a little monomer to the nails so that the Gold Leaf has something to stick to and then I’m going to take my 3D brush and apply the Gold Leaf onto the nail.

Once we have all the Gold Leaf where we want it it's time to cap the design with Clear Acrylic and Sandwich the Foil inside all of the acrylic goodness and give the nail strength.

For the Next nail I am going to be doing a full marble using the same acrylic colours and also some gold leaf too so don’t forget to prime and build out your clear layer.

Now I’m Going to file these nails in to shape I’m using the Kirsty Meakin metal file board with a 150 Grit file on one side and a Buffer on the other and I’m using my metal file to get nice straight sidewalls after filing I'll buff over the nails to make them nice and smooth and give them a clean ready for BLING!

The stones that I will be using today are the Nailchemy Crystals Silver AB and I'll be using the Kirsty Meakin Pammy Picker Upper and the Glitterama Brush On Glue and I'll be putting the stone up at the cuticle area on this design.

Now I'll topcoat the design get that cured and then I'll finish off with a little bit of cuticle oil.
