Three Completed Drake Silver Omni versions

This video shows three Drake silver Omnis that were recently completed:

Omni version 1:
Metal dome (stainless steel) and Shapeways MJF Plastic PA12 Glass Beads (rigid) body covered with aluminum plate. Inner Month and Day dials were 3d printed with engraving. Outer 2 dials (Decade/ Year) used transfer decals with 10 coats of lacquer coating.
Globe is a flat map beneath a plexiglass dome.

Omni version 2:
3d printed Shapeways MJF Plastic PA12 Glass Bead dome painted with Molotow Liquid chrome paint and epoxy coated.
Body is painted brass plate and was made from scratch.
Back is 3d printed Shapeways MJF Plastic PA12 Glass Beads painted with Dupli-color Metallic chrome paint.
Electronics are solid state and a capacitor charges when the green light sounds. Capacitor has to be discharged with a button on the back. All dials are 3d printed Shapeways fine detail plastic. All lettering and numbering came engraved on the dials from the 3d printer, and was highlighted with shoe polish. Dials were then lacquer coated. The globe is from an Etsy Omni.

Omni version 3:
3d printed Shapeways MJF Plastic PA12 Glass Bead dome/ body/ dials with Dupli-Color chrome metallic paint and transfer decals/ 10 lacquer coats on dials.
