[4K] Katanga Cargo Shop at Alton Towers, join us as we venture to Katanga Canyon to take a look around the amazing Kantanga Emporium with a large selection of Alton Towers merchandise.

Katanga Cargo Company Shop is located in the heart of Katanga Canyon which opened in 1992. The Katanga Cargo Shop serves as the exit to the two main rides in Katanga Canyon, Congo River Rapids and the Runaway Mine Trains.

The Grand Canyon Rapids which was part of Aqualand and had an entrance located where Mutiny Bay is today was renamed to Katanga Canyon in 1992 and the attraction rapids ride was renamed Congo River Rapids. The Runaway Mine Train was added to the area at the same time the exit of these rides filter into the Katanga Cargo Company Shop
