Embark on an exhilarating journey with us to #munsyari Munsyari, the gateway to the Johar region of the inner Himalayas, nestled at an altitude of around 2200 meters in the picturesque Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. As we ascended, we encountered a magical live snowfall, a prelude to the breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks.

Our exploration took us to the snow-covered #kalamuni Kalamuni Temple at 2700 meters, a serene spectacle in the winter wonderland. The adventure continued as we reached Betuli Dhar, the highest point on the road from Thal to Munsyari, 10 kilometers before Munsyari itself. The snow-clad Khaliya peak and surrounding mountains added to the enchantment. Here, we played in the snow, creating memories amidst the frozen landscape, and savored a steaming bowl of maggie crafted by melting ice.

In the evening, Munsyari welcomed us with rain, creating a mystical atmosphere. Our night in Munsyari unfolded with the weather clearing, revealing the majestic Kumaon Himalayas shimmering in the moonlight. Capturing the beauty of peaks like Hansling and Panchachuli, we prepared for a night's rest.

The following day marked the beginning of our trek to Humdhura, heightened by the revelation that the entire trail was now blanketed in snow. With anticipation and excitement, we commenced our journey from #betulidhar Betuli Dhar to #thamarikund Thamari Kund and onward to #humdhura Hum Dhura.
