Summary :-
OP is major in finance and currently living on his passive money. That comes from stock investment. Meanwhile he is planning to open his business venture. His girlfriend Nia is pregnant and wants to marry him as soon as possible. Her mother lives in another city and is also living her retirement life with passive income generated by her small business chain.
OP and Nia has been dating for a few years, OP has no one in the family and he lives alone with his pet dog. They get engaged in a hurry. Then Nia takes OP to her city for a vacation so that her mother could also meet him. But Nia’s mother Jasmine doesn’t like OP and she thinks of him as a gold digger unemployed person who wants to marry Nia because she has a high paying job and also a sole nominee of her property and business.
Nia doesn’t tell her that she is pregnant. Later Jasmine humiliates OP whenever she finds a chance. When Nia doesn’t listen to her and condemns her actions she decides to trap OP. Jasmine throws a small party at her house to make amends. In a party Jasmine again misbehaves with OP and humiliates him in front of everyone. But this time OP was in an influence of some drug which was mixed in his drink by Jasmine. So OP the drink on jasmine’s face and curses her. This angers Nia and she slaps him and asks to apologize, but he doesn’t and after a quarrel Nia decides to break the engagement.
As OP leaves the party he falls off the stairs and gets unconscious. Nia takes him to the hospital, there doctors find that he was drugged. Later Nia investigates the CCTV footages of the party and sees that it was Jasmine who offered OP a drink. Nia then confronts Jasmine in an emotional manner while OP was there. Jasmine told that she could not let her marry an unemployed gold digger, upon that OP finally laughs out when Nia was trying to explain that she loves him. OP finally shows his investment portfolio to Jasmine and Nia. They both gets stunned and Jasmine realizes her mistake of judging the person. Jasmine apologizes to Jacob and to amend she organizes the wedding.
