Wolf Whistle

There’s been much discussion, and many viral videos recently about women receiving ‘unwelcome’ attention on the streets. This is a clip from 1961 about young people’s attitude to “Wolf Whistling”. It’s so interesting to see the contrast in attitudes from today, and makes you
wonder how they will change again in another 53 years.

Mae llawer o sylw, a ffilmiau feiral, yn ddiweddar wedi nodi fod rhai merched yn cael sylw ‘digroeso’ ar y strydoedd. Mae’r clip hwn o 1961 yn gofyn am farn pobol ifanc am ‘wolf whistling’. Mae’n hynod ddiddorol gweld y newid agwedd dros yr hanner can mlynnedd dwethaf.
