Pistol Red Dot Mounting Alternative: Dueck Defense RBU (Trijicon RMR)

This video is an install of the Dueck Defense "Red Dot Back Up" sight base and the Trijicon RMR (model RM06) on my Glock 17.

If you're looking for a good alternative (and non-permanent) modification to milling your slide for the use of a pistol mounted red dot, then this may be the answer for you. The RBU is a dovetail mounted sight base for the use of all Trijicon RMR red dots.

Averaging about $130, its a cost effective way to get into the red dot game without having to send your pistol slide out and worked on.

Milling = $140
Recoating = $80
Suppressor sights = $60
....and weeks of waiting...

Other alternatives also include: pre-cut slides, factory built pistols (Glock MOS system, M&P C.O.R.E., etc.).
