How to make the delicious Black Manhattan cocktail

Love a Manhattan? Of course you do, well, it's time you tried this delicious variation.

Switching different amari into classic cocktails is a really easy way to start playing around with flavours and make sure you don’t get bored of your favourite drinks! Averna is actually fairly sweet, with juicy citrus notes and so substitutes really nicely in for the vermouth in a classic Manhattan to create a close to perfect night cap!

Specs:
60ml (2oz) rye or bourbon
20ml (2/3oz) Averna
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
Cocktail cherry to garnish
Lemon or orange twist (optional)
