Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome back, I am so excited to show you another pour using my NEW Tipsy Piggy Recipe for using This Little Piggy Pigments in acrylic pours!
The Tipsy Piggy recipe is fairly simple, only two steps!

******************TIPSY PIGGY RECIPE*************************
Step 1. Disperse the pigments in a little bit of alcohol. I used 99.5% alcohol because that is what I had. The higher the percentage alcohol, the less water there is in it. I have not tried 70% alcohol but I will. The most important part of this is not to use too much alcohol. Use just enough to wet the pigments. It should look like a slurry, with a little bit of liquid on top. I used about 1 and a half teaspoons of alcohol and about 3/4 of a teaspoon of pigments. This was enough for about 6 ounces of mixed paint.

Step 2. I used Mix Pour as my pouring medium. I love Mix Pour because of the thicker consistency and the fact that it dries completely clear and shiny. I added about 6 ounces of Mix to my alcohol pigment mixture and stirred. Ready to pour with! Its that easy!

I am conducting experiments trying out other pouring mediums with the pigments dispersed in alcohol. I will update you when I have some definitive results to share.

Several of you have asked about using Floetrol in place of Mix pour, if this will work for this recipe. In my experience and in the tests I have run, the answer is NO. Floetrol is a paint conditioner, designed to thin the paint and make it spread easy.. It is not a pouring medium. It does not have any binders in it to bind with the paint. Floetrol does not like alcohol at all. If you use a pouring medium with binders and have some floetrol in it, then it probably will work. But Floetrol and alcohol dispersed pigments alone does not work.

Lets get started with todays pour...
