My #BecomingFilipino journey in Region 4-A randomly brought me to Taal, Batangas…. and it is a MUST VISIT if you are cruising around Calabarzon Region in Luzon! No wonder they call it the heritage town… there are beautiful ancestral houses EVERYWHERE!

Rolling into Taal on my scooter I couldn't help but think…Ancestral houses… Food… "Ancestral House Foodtrip"!

I spent two days walking around this beautiful town just taking in the amazing "heritage atmosphere". The people were friendly, the town was beautiful, and the food…. well the food was AWESOME! Their local market is so organized, full of smiles and full of delicious foods!

From Empanadas, to Lomi, to Tamales... to Ancestral homes!
