A live concert presenting Robert Guthrie as a featured performer for the Fort Worth Guitar Guild. Robert Guthrie (1943-2023), was an international concert artist, teacher, and composer and head of the guitar department at SMU (1973-2022). Robert Guthrie was featured in Guitar Player Magazine in 1974. He was the second person in the United States to receive a degree in classical guitar performance under a scholarship recommendation of Andres Segovia to study with Jesus Silva at the North Carolina School of the Arts (B.M. 1969). He studies also included Andres Segovia, Jose Tomas, Celedonio Romero, and Alirio Diaz.
