It can be very hard to find tickets by status in Jira because many projects will have differing names. "Completed", "Done" and "Cancelled" can all mean the task is done, but unless you know what they're called, you'll miss things. That's where StatusCategory comes in - it lets you find tickets by one of three categories "To Do", "In Progress" and "Done".
