We travelled from Vlore in a hire car. It was our first time in Albania and we loved it. Gjirokastra is beautiful, and we can recommend it whole heartedly. The wonderful music is "Swinging with the Sultans" by Doug Maxwell, Thank you for the permissions to use this and I hope you don't mind I cut it a little short; it is a wonderful track.
