The Agri clinic and Agribusiness centre (ACABC SCHEME) is administered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Government of India, with NABARD acting as the subsidy channelling agency.
To augment efforts of public extension by offering extension and other services to farmers on a paid basis or for free, depending on the agri-business entrepreneur's model, local requirements, and affordability of the target group of farmers. To promote agricultural development. To develop self-employment prospects for jobless agricultural graduates, agricultural diploma holders, intermediate agriculture graduates, and biological science graduates with a master's degree in agri-related courses.

Agri-Clinics are envisioned to provide farmers with expert advice and services on various topics to increase crop/animal yields and farmer incomes. Agri-Business Centres are commercial units of agri-ventures founded by agriculture professionals with specialised training. These ventures may include the maintenance and custom rental of farm equipment, the sale of inputs and other services in agriculture and allied fields, including post-harvest management and market links for income generation and entrepreneurship development.
