3 Reb Beach Tapping Licks From 1989

Описание к видео 3 Reb Beach Tapping Licks From 1989

Here's another Three-For-All lesson and this time we're breaking down three tapping licks hiding in a live guitar solo by fretboard stuntman Reb Beach from 1989.

Reb is a monster guitar player who's mainly known for his early work with the band Winger, but since that time he's worked with a number of groups and artists, including Whitesnake, Dokken, Alice Cooper, and many others. His fretwork also appears in films and video games, including Sega's Daytona USA 2 and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (to name a few). He also appears in Wayne's World as a member of Alice Cooper's band in the background.

This lesson takes a peek at three tapping licks found during his live solo from 1989, which was during Winger's extended tour of their debut album. There are a few bootleg versions of this guitar solo floating around on Youtube, and depending on which version you watch, you can hear the same solo played with slight variations during each version.

There are plenty of new and interesting things you can learn from studying some licks and ideas from a player like Reb, so be sure to play through this lesson and the licks being shared slowly until you get a feel for the fingerings, movements, and concepts overall.
