3 Reb Beach Licks From 2011

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Reb Beach Licks From 2011. I've had a number of requests for more of Reb Beach's music/ideas and recently mentioned featuring him during the Joel Hoekstra Three-For-All episode from a few weeks ago.

You may have noticed that I shifted gears for this lesson, as I stumbled upon a bunch of candid footage featuring Reb sharing some of his licks, and decided to explore hitting this avenue of ideas, instead of my original plan for this lesson. But as you'll discover - there's plenty to explore hiding in this episode!

The ideas shared here include a batch of licks Reb shared backstage at a venue in Italy in 2011. There are some signature moves hiding in this lesson, along with some apparent Eddie Van Halen-inspired tapped ideas floating around as well. So if you're a tapper - you'll find plenty to sink your teeth and fingers into in this episode.

There's something special about Reb's playing style and the way he moves around the fretboard. While he avoids using his pinky finger most of the time (what I've nicknamed "Michael Schenker Syndrome"), he obviously makes up for it with a plethora of interesting/inspiring tapping licks and phrases, which lead him all over the fretboard using various fingering techniques and playing approaches.
