Get a spine... discovering the best arrow setup for YOUR BOW!!!

In this video we dive into discovering what arrow your bow likes best. And yes... this does matter.
In the previous videos in this series, we tuned my Mathew's VXR 31.5 and set it specifically to the manufacturers recommended settings. Now it is time to shoot bareshafts through paper to get a perfect bullet hole. After each shot, I will be cutting the carbon length down until I get a perfect bullet hole through paper at about 7 yards. We will verify this from 10 and 20 yards making any adjustments necessary to achieve the flight we are after.
This process takes a fair amount of work, but is CRITICAL in ensuring you have the most forgiving, best penetrating arrow possible. Remember, perfect arrow flight is Dr. Ashby's second most important factor. At the end of this video, we will have addressed this factor completely.
Troy Fowler ‪@RanchFairy‬ worked with Sirius Archery to provide these test kits in a user friendly kit, purchased through one website. The process I show in this video is using the kit outside of it's intended purpose and does require more work. However, when you know exactly what point weight you intend to shoot, this is the best way to find the perfect dynamic spine needed from your bow.
If you intend to follow this process, I recommend starting with a full 32" length carbon, unless you ABSOLUTELY know that it will be too long, and the dynamic spine will be way too soft. If you do not know what point weight you will need to shoot, you can order the kits in whatever carbon to carbon length you wish to shoot, and install the different point weights included in the kit to find the appropriate dynamic spine. This is the option that will work best for you if you do not have the ability to cut and square your carbon.
