🚴‍♂️ Try different vo2 and analyze those workouts
🚴‍♂️ Extend your power, TTE….I preach 8-10min but this is still important. Can you ride at FTP for 45min? Bulk of time, can you do 3 x 20m at a high tempo. 4 x 20m? Gravel racers need to pay attention to this.
🚴‍♂️ One thing to note, you’ll hear gravel people train a lot of tempo because that is their race, but if you can already do it, I prefer to have my athletes bring all areas up from vo2max and threshold work
🚴‍♂️ 6 x 6 rest reduction…supra threshold to endurance, so it’s like an OU but ALSO high scoring vo2max for many, and can even bring out 6 to 30min bests…or 1.5H bests.
