Chicken Bread Recipe || Chicken Bread stuffed with creamy chicken filling Recipe - RKC


In this video am going to share the recipe for chicken Bread stuffed with creamy chicken filling. Perfect for Dinner or Snack.

Ingredients
For the Dough
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tbsp instant yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 egg
1/2 cup lukewarm milk or adjust

For the Filling
Chicken cooked and shredded 2 cups
Onion 1, chopped
Chilli powder 1 tsp, adjust to your taste
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger and garlic paste 2 tsp
Green chillies chopped 2, adjust to your taste
1.5 cups vegetable of your choice( I used chopped bell peppers, shredded carrots, cabbage)
1 tsp oregano
Salt to your taste
All purpose flour 3 tbsp
Milk 11/2 cups
Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
Milk 2 tbsp, for milk wash or egg 1 beate
Sesame seeds

Preparation
For Fillings
1. First cook the chicken in instant pot, with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Select pressure cook on high pressure for 7 minutes. Once it's cool, shred the chicken and keep it aside.
2. Heat a skillet, once it hot add oil, add onion, add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and sauté until onion becomes soft.
3. Add all the mixed vegetable and sauté well for 2-3 minutes then add all the masala powders and fry for a minute.
4. Add shredded chicken to the mix and mix it well and make sure all the chicken pieces breaks. Adjust the seasoning and put 1-2 tsp lemon juice over the mix and mix it well. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
5. Once it’s cold Add 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and mix and keep it aside.

For the dough
1. In a bowl mix lukewarm milk,yeast and sugar, let it sit for 10 minutes or until yeast proofs.
2. Add salt, olive oil, egg and flour, mix well with a stand mixer if u have, kneed until smooth dough. Add few drops of oil and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let the dough sit for 2 hours or until double in volume in the warm place.
3. After the dough has risen, roll the dough into a oval shape.
4. Place the chicken filling in the middle of the oval shape and spread little cheese on top and cut diagonal slits on the longer sides of the rectangle with a knife or pizza cutter.
5. Fold over the slits in a criscross fashion, neatly folding at the end. Start braiding now. Fold the bottom and top of the dough towards filling and begin folding the strips over the filling, lapping them alternately.
6. Finish the folding and transfer the loaf into the prepared baking tray. Cover with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise for another 30 minute for the second rise.
7. Just before baking do egg wash/milk wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds if you desire. Bake in a preheated oven 350 degree F for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Once it’s done, transfer to a cooling rack.
