Grayson Highlands 50k by Run Bum Races. I've wanted to run this race for 5 years but wasn't able to make it happen until this year. I went in with zero training on trails in the past 5 months, as I was working on a road marathon PR. The course was brutal, but also beautiful. Official Time: 7:55:07, which is a mountain 50k PR (running in the mountains is so much different than my flat dirt path PR I set last week).
