ACB Show and Tell with the 1967 Olds Mendez Trumpet!

The Olds Mendez trumpet was an amazing offering from Olds, and this one is no exception! If you are looking for a great clear, projecting, brilliant trumpet with still great core to the sound, then this horn is it! What an awesome SOUND!

FEATURES:
- Clear Lacquer
-1st and 3rd valve slide triggers which work perfectly
-Art Deco Z braces
-ML bore

This particular horn is from 1967 and is in wonderful shape overall. The compression is great, and it has been fully re-lacquered sometime in the past (and done very well). We did straighten out a slight dip in the bell when we received and now it is aligned, straight, and tensionless. There are 2 spots of lacquer wear on the leadpipe and tuning slide crook (but no red rot). It has one minor dent on the bell near the engraving. Overall, it is in great shape, and it plays wonderfully (as you can hear)!

Don't miss out on this horn! It's a fabulous, Besson-inspired design, and made by Olds during a great period in their excellent legacy of craftsmanship. IMO this horn has a quintessential trumpet sound with incredible crispness and core!
