1965 Olds Mendez Cornet! ACB Show & Tell

[Link in description] Check out this vintage Olds Mendez cornet! It might look like a trumpet, but it's actually a "long model" cornet! Now, it is a bit more like a trumpet than the Conn long model cornets, but it still takes a cornet mouthpiece. This horn has the classic first and third valve triggers like on the Olds Mendez trumpets, and they work wonderfully.

Very nice playing horn, has the compactness typical of the Mendez trumpets as well. This would be a great way to get away with playing cornet in a big band section. There's great connectivity between the notes and this horn is very even throughout the range.
