‘पितांबरी नर्सरी’ने १४३ प्रकारची रोपे व कलमे विक्रीसाठी उपलब्ध करून दिली आहेत. त्यात फळझाडे, फुलझाडे, जंगली झाडे, मसाला पिके, ३२ प्रकारचे बांबू, चंदन, रक्तचंदन, सुपरवन व इंटर मंगला या नारळाच्या बुटक्या जाती, मोठ्या आकाराचा तैवान पिंक पेरू, हापूस व केशर आंब्याचा समावेश आहे.
‘पितांबरी नर्सरी फ्रॅंचायसी’ योजनेतील सदस्यांना दापोलीतील डॉ. बाळासाहेब सावंत कोकण कृषी विद्यापीठाचे पदवीधर व कृषितज्ज्ञ गुरुप्रसाद बेर्डे, पराग साळवी व संदेश महाडीक यांच्याकडून व्यावसायिक मार्गदर्शन व प्रशिक्षण दिले जाणार आहे. याशिवाय बिलबुक, माहितीपत्रक, बिलिंग सॉफ्टवेअरदेखील पुरविले जाणार आहे. तसेच, देशी गायीच्या शेणापासून तयार केलेले पितांबरीचे ‘गोमय’ सेंद्रिय शेणखत विक्रीसाठी उपलब्ध असेल.
ही योजना खात्रीशीर उत्पन्नाचा व्यवसाय असून राज्यातील ३५७ तालुक्यांमध्ये येत्या पाच वर्षांत एक कोटी वृक्ष लागवडीचे लक्ष्य आम्ही गाठणार आहोत. त्यामुळे या योजनेत मोठ्या संख्येने सहभागी व्हावे, असे आवाहन ‘पितांबरी’च्यावतीने करण्यात आले आहे.
