This easy to make sewing machine mat will help to protect our worktop and cut down on noise whilst sewing. Using reverse applique, binding and quilting techniques.
You may need to increase the size of the mat if you have a larger machine.

Materials:
1 piece of single sided fusible foam [Bosal] measuring 15” x 8” [38cm x 20cm]
2 pieces of fabric each measuring 17” x 92 [43cm x 23cm]
2 pieces of fabric for the heart each measuring approx. 6” [15cm] square
50” x 2” [128cm x 5cm] strip o fabric for the binding
Ruler and erasable marker pen
