Deconstructing Evangelicalism

Описание к видео Deconstructing Evangelicalism

What does our nation's history have to do with today's church?
Why are so many Christians taking their faith apart?
How can we learn from past mistakes?

Cameron McAllister addresses the recent trend of Christian “deconstruction” wherein popular and well-known evangelicals publicly leave the faith. Cameron examines the culture of evangelicalism, specifically, and the church, more broadly, with an eye toward the history of both in the United States, as well as the impact of current events.

Cameron McAllister is the co-founder of Thinking Out Loud, a ministry that seeks to bridge the gap between discipleship and apologetics. Cameron co-hosts a weekly podcast that addresses current events and Christian hope and is the co-author of Faith That Lasts. A former staff writer with Christ & Pop Culture, Cameron’s writing has appeared in Christianity Today, Relevant magazine, Think Christian, and Fathom magazine. He holds a masters degree in apologetics from Houston Baptist University, and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Heather, and their two children.
