Gran Turismo 5 - Playthrough Part 11 - GT World Championship

Gran Turismo 7 is coming out in March 2022, so I want to try to get a good amount of completion in all of the previous Gran Turismo games until then. Here you can see me completing the GT World Championship in Gran Turismo 5.

Gran Turismo has always been one of my favorite racing game franchises and I played the first 3 games of the series when they first came out. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6. Before GT7 I want to try to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time. I am not sure if I will manage to get all of it done but I will see how far I can get.

In this video I am doing the final event in the Professional section with the GT World Championship. For this cup I am picking up the Falken Skyline from the used car dealer. This car is one of the best deals in the game. It is way cheaper than most other race cars at the same power level.

As a reward car we are getting the Bugatti Veyron and I am also getting the R390 road car as a random reward for completing the Professional section. In my next GT5 video I will complete several more cups.

For winning the World Championship we are also unlocking the first of multiple ending movies already, so this seems like a good point to pause my playthrough of GT5 for the release of GT7. I will definitely continue this game later during the year though. :)
