Gran Turismo 6 - Playthrough Part 18 - GT World Championship

Gran Turismo 7 has now been released but I still want to continue my playthroughs of all the previous GT games as well, so that I will eventually have 100% completion in all of them. Here you can see me completing the GT World Championship in Gran Turismo 6.

Gran Turismo has always been one of my favorite racing game franchises and I played the first 3 games of the series when they first came out. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6 when they were new. Now around the release of GT7 I want to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time, recording full playthrough of all 6 original games.

In this video I am doing the GT World Championship, which is the final event of the International A section and puts us against some of the fastest cars in the whole game. For this event I decided to use one of the most awesome and iconic cars of the Gran Turismo franchise with the legendary Toyota GT-One.

In the last two videos we faced some pretty strong AI in the Super GT championships but somehow in this event the AI was a lot weaker, so the races weren't very interesting. It was still fun to do a bunch of laps with this great car though and we also get to see a really cool ending movie after the championship.

In my next GT6 video I will unlock the final section of events by getting the S license.
