Maybe I'll try again when the full version is released. For now, I noticed nobody is really playing this so I might as well offer my comments and show off AbEx (don't see many, if any, videos of it out there yet).

I didn't play Extra so I cannot comment on its balance.

EDIT 20 Sep 2022: Revised opinions below in [square brackets]. I have 2 1MNBs (one to the last non, one to the last spell) and I don't really intend on grinding out an NMNB at the moment.

The good:
Pattern ideas are pretty cool. I particularly really love Omnilateral Annihilation Seal, really fun spell.
Finally someone made an AbEx which is humanly NMNBable.

The not so good:
I get that Yabusame's shot type has never dealt much damage in any game ever, but this is a bit much. Patterns drag on for way too long (up to 40 seconds) - it's not fun to dodge 6 or 7 waves of the same thing, and makes resetting a pain. The boss already has a lot of patterns, so this only makes it feel like a slog, even though the patterns themselves are fairly cool. I think a general HP nerf or shot power buff could help.
Visibility on the 2nd non is poor, and the kunai feel like their hitboxes are a tad big.
4th spell can cause you to get completely walled off from reaching your target. Density should probably be lowered. [This spell isn't actually as bad as I initially thought it was, although it's still inconsistent. The 3rd spell, however, sucks ass.]
5th non feels a bit overtuned as well but I can't really put my finger on why.
Final phase of the survival is disorienting, with no particularly good reference of where the "center" is. Not sure if this is intentional.
Final phase of the final spell is horseshit RNG. Why. [Again, this isn't thaaaat bad. Still not a fan though.]

The ???:
The hitbox sprite is too small for my liking. As much as it accurately represents your hitbox, I find it not very noticeable at a glance, and it's a bit harder to get your "hitbox-sense" if you're reading far ahead.
Why is there a PoC marker on the side of the screen if there's no PoC lol
The red amulet ring on the 8th non (Tsugumi non) sucks and feels kinda cheap, but removing it would make it completely free. Not sure how I would improve this pattern. [This pattern is actually completely fine after I got used to it.]
I hope Tsuba doesn't face the same set of patterns in the full version. You would probably deal near-zero damage on a bunch of patterns where you can't stay below the boss or the boss moves around too much (e.g. 4th non, Tax Evasion, Omnilateral, the Tsugumi non, Aurora, last non, the first two phases of the final spell)
