LAREINE / ラレーヌ - Live 2000 [4K 60FPS] - "THE LAST OF ROMANCE" (Miss CARMILA～誕生の刻印～ Fanclub Tour)

HIYA! Here is a live concert of the Japanese visual-kei rockband LAREINE or ラレーヌ! This is the third and final concert of the "Miss CARMILA～誕生の刻印～" fanclub-only tour, held on 6 August, 2000 at 赤坂BLITZ (Akasaka BLITZ). This video has been upscaled to 4K 60FPS using artifical intelligence.

Many of the tracks played on this live come from the album "フィエルテの海と共に消ゆ～THE LAST OF ROMANCE～" or "Fierte no umi to tomo ni kyu~THE LAST OF ROMANCE~", released on 16 February, 2000. It is a masterpiece. This concert/tour was a goodbye, since the band was about to split up right after. Luckily, they reformed in 2002, but they were never as popular as in 1999/2000.

This concert footage remained unreleased for six years, until August of 2006, on the hyper-rare, fanclub-only "THE LAST OF ROMANCE I" DVD ("Fun" fact: A second part never got released). This DVD remained almost-undocumented on the internet for many years because of its rarity, not appearing on most discography lists on-line. Sadly, as you may have noticed, the concert did not get completely released on the DVD: All songs are cut short. Some song are even less then a minute, and other songs are put half on it.

LAREINE had disbanded again in 2006 by the time this DVD released, so maybe there wasn't a budget, or enough time to edit the entire concert, I don't know. Anyhow, I'm so happy at least even a part of this got released.

This DVD also contains bonus footage, such as the music videos of Fleur and ROMANCIA on DVD instead of VHS, both of which I've already uploaded. It also contains a photo gallery, and some very brief, low-quality footage of one of the 1999 live dates (Le vent express tour), with just one camera angle. I won't upload these two last bonusses.

I bought this DVD in 2017 for 100EUR... And I thought I was completely nuts to buy it at such a "high" price. A few years later, this DVD is so sought-after and rare, that it recently sold for almost 300EUR on a Japanese auction, which is almost always way cheaper than in the West! But there's not much sales data, since this DVD is so rare that it usually only comes on sale once per year or two years! There's a serial number on it, which should also be an indication that not much exist. The highest serial number I've ever seen on it (pictures of auctions) is somwhere in the 200s... so maybe around just 300 copies exist!

I've uploaded the Métamorphose song of this live DVD on my channel many years ago, and people were happy to see it. But I've always held off of uploading the full thing, until today.

I have a few reasons to upload it:

1) I thought it was gonna be blocked worldwide because of automatic YouTube copyright checks, like so many other LAREINE videos... Especially since it contains fiançailles. But this isn't the case, it's not blocked! This is because the lives are a bit too different than the studio versions, so it doesn't get detected. Other live videos DO get detected, so we're lucky the YT machine doesn't pick the versions of this specific live DVD up.

2) I did not want to disappoint any fans who spent hundreds on this DVD by putting it up for everyone for free....

3) ...But this live DVD recently got leaked on-line, on a Chinese streaming website. But in low quality, and with a watermark. Somebody downloaded it from that site, and put it on YT over a year ago, and that video is starting to get more and more views...

So:
1 - I noticed that that video didn't get blocked.
2 - Because of that video, it means this DVD is already leaked, so I don't think me uploading it will piss off any fans who have this DVD anymore.
3 - I want people to enjoy this fully, in high quality, without any watermark.
