In this video, I show you how to make the traditional and nutritious Kambangoozh. This wholesome dish is perfect for a healthy breakfast. To prepare Kambangoozh, I start by soaking bajra millet (kambu), ragi (kezhvaraghu), peanuts, and broken corn kernels overnight. This soaking process enhances the nutrients and makes them easier to digest.

The next morning, I pulse the kambu and ragi coarsely. In a mud pot or heavy-bottomed pot, I boil water and add peanuts and broken corn, letting them boil for 5 minutes before adding the pulsed millets. I add enough hot water and a teaspoon of ghee, letting it cook for 20-30 minutes until it's ready. Serve it with sliced shallots, curd, and mix it all together for a delicious and nutritious meal. Enjoy with your favorite sides!
