In this video, I use wool to paint a picture on a big piece of felted sweater. The color of the wool sweater just seemed to really ask for a bright pink flamingo as the subject, so who am I to disappoint a sweater? I started out with a rough sketch, to plan where I wanted each part of the flamingo. Then I used a wide range of pinks to try to achieve a realistic roundness, to make the flamingo look like it's popping off the surface. I think this art turned out REALLY cool and I can't wait to try it again with another subject!
