Britain's Worst Serial Baby Killer: Lucy Letby To Be Sentenced Today | Good Morning Britain

Neonatal nurse Lucy Letby is due to be sentenced today for the murder of seven babies and attempting to murder six others. The 33-year-old was found guilty on Friday of the killings carried out while Letby was a neonatal nurse working at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016. Her victims included two identical triplet brothers killed within 24 hours of each other, a newborn weighing less than 1kg fatally injected with air, and a baby girl born 10 weeks premature who was murdered on the fourth attempt.

Retired consultant paediatrician Dr Evans was called by the prosecution to give his opinions as to why a number of babies suffered collapses at the Countess of Chester's neonatal unit.

He was the main prosecution witness in the case
