This video will take you to the tribal villages Temple festival in the Nilgiris(near Kotagiri) happens only 10 days a year on saturday's of Pyuratassi and Vaigasi month of the Tamil Calendar. The Rangasamy Malai is temple festival is famous among the Irulas and Kurumbas tribes in Kotagiri Nilgiris. The temple is located in the Nilgiris Reserve Forest at Kadasolai Tribe Village, Kil Kotagiri. This is a significant temple for the Irular Tribes. Trek begins inside the reserve forest and lasts 3-4 hours. To visit the temple on days other than these, one must obtain permission from the reserve forest officers.
