Preikestolen (english: ‘Pulpit Rock,’ or ‘Preacher’s Chair’) is a tourist attraction in the municipality of Strand in Rogaland county, Norway. Preikestolen is a steep cliff which rises 604 metres above Lysefjorden. Atop the cliff, there is an almost flat top of approximately 25 by 25 metres. This journey took two days for us, because we traveled from Oslo to Stavanger 8 hours by Train 🚊 and stayed two nights at Jørpeland. From Jørpeland within 15 min we reached at base camp then after almost two hours hiked. It is most iconic and most visit place on earth. Personally, I would recommend going once in a lifetime. #preikestolen
