“Welcome Back locomotive #3 Roger E Broggie” Riding the Walt Disney World Railroad

Well as the title says “Welcome back #3 Roger E Broggie”. He’s been off property getting overhauled at Strasburg Railroad. He got there in 2019 and returned in late 2023 or early 2024. Despite his return after 4 or 5 years he couldn’t re enter service till being properly put back together and test ran. You’ll notice the shade of green on his boiler jacket kinda matches the same shade of green as Lilly Belle. But his emerald candy green color will return once the colors fade in the sun. The whistle he really toots is a Lonergan 3 chime. Same whistle tooted by Disneyland Railroad locomotive #5 “Ward Kimball”. However before he left being on display at Main Street Station he wore a 4 inch Crosby 3 chime with Lukenhimer valves. I think Roger tooted that whistle a few times before getting the Lonergan. Both whistles do have the same sound as a 5 inch Lukenhimer 3 chime.
