Beauty In Modesty Project
This idea have been on my mind for a while now and finally decided to act on it. For those who are observant, it is pretty clear that the definition of beauty have evolved tremendously and if we want to be honest, it's not heading in the right direction.
My approach in addressing the matter comes from biblical inspiration because the pressure to feel included and to be part of the latest trend can be overwhelming for many and let's face it, no one want to feel like an outcast. Now the issue is, we should not be following the ways and traditions of the world, for those who are chosen have specific instructions as to not conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect, will of God...Romans 12:2
This video is to really encourage our people that there is still very much great beauty in modesty, queens and princesses wearing long and beautiful dresses, doing your best to leave what is hidden into the imagination of those who are curious.
Now understand that low self-esteem can present itself differently and i've known people who dress in a revealing way because subconsciously they desire a certain level of attention but they would never admit to it. Just remember that you were beautifully and wonderfully made and that it's also a good thing to take care of your body in a healthy and positive way.
I really hope this encourage someone to start thinking differently when it come to what they put on because we as adults are also suppose to set the example for those that are coming.
