Product Discussion/Review: Original-Style Triumph GT6+ Dash by Handmade by Heary

Small Triumph Sports Library & Archives, Episode 7 (May/June 2023)

Review of a Handmade by Heary dash recently built for my U.S. spec 1969 Triumph GT6+. Discussion includes a brief focus on certain original features.

Initial notes/corrections, pedantic nonsense, and self-mockery:

Hopefully I caught most errors prior to finalizing the video. Still, there are always a few things to address. (And please let me know if I’ve missed/screwed up anything!)

2:50 As I go to post this video, I realize that I’m assuming it’s the same Peter Heary—I'm sure he’ll let me know if I’m wrong!

5:28 Ed Hollingsworth’s website has been an invaluable resource to me since I started my GT6 project in 2020. Here is a link to his GT6 pages: http://bullfire.net/GT6/GT6%20TOC.htm...

6:49 I looked at the 1969 UK sales brochure in my possession as well, but the dash images are not as clear.

8:14 The lighting in the photo isn’t the best, obviously.

10:29 Peter Heary’s video presentation of my dash:    • Triumph GT6 dash panel set in OEM fin...

11:30 I’m still a LONG way from putting the dash in the car, as you’ll know if you saw this channel’s Episode 1 (or if you eventually catch the forthcoming update).
