One of the more challenging aspects of longevity to train is quick twitch reaction time because it requires Faster Movements which can be risky as we age. How I have minimized the risk is by following a proven progression with fast twitch exercises that include:

1 - Starting out with slower movements
2 - Shorter amplitude movements
3 - Low resistance

From there I gradually increase my speed and amplitude of movement as my timing improves.

Here is a perfect example of how I apply this progressive approach.
