We use our dehydrator for more than just jerky. You can successfully dehydrate almost all garden veggies for preservation. Let's face it the freezer can only hold so much. Tomato Soup Recipe

28 ounces crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream milk
1/4 cup fresh basil
salt and pepper ( to taste)
1/2 cup water or more to desired consistency

Instructions: Mix all ingredients in a blender. Pour into a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook 10-15 minutes.
