GARLIC Chicken The THAI Way | TRUST Us It's BETTER!

This is another great dish from the lexicon of Thai cuisine. Gratiem prig thai chicken or as it's known in english: garlic and pepper chicken. We've had this dish for donkeys years in our restaurant but we make it slightly differently for our customers as they love a good bit of sauce. The traditional Thai version has very little sauce, and is served drier and with more crispy garlic topping.

Here's the recipe:

100g Thai garlic ( 50g for the topping and 50g for the chicken)
200g-250g of boneless and skinless chicken thighs
Sliced spring onion to decorate
Cucumber to decorate
10 pieces of coriander root
5g of whole white pepper
Pinch of salt
3/4 Tbsp white sugar
2 Tbsp Oyster sauce
1 Tbsp Golden mountain seasoning
1 Tbsp Sweet soy sauce
1 Tbsp Light soy sauce
Vegetable oil

As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.
