Lamium has been growing in my yard for many years. Other than deadheading, I find myself spending more time cutting the old stems that have died back in the summer. This year, trying out a spring cut back so all leggy and brown stems are removed when the new growth are still emerging. Will see how things go for the summer.
Note: It is my preference to do this to keep the yard neat. I can do this since my yard is really small.
