ALCO RS3 Engines On The Delaware & Lackawana Office Car Special Train

Описание к видео ALCO RS3 Engines On The Delaware & Lackawana Office Car Special Train

A pair of ALCO engines pull the Delaware & Lackawana Office Car Special train for a special excursion tour on this short chase video. First we see them sitting in the Carbondale Train Station in Pennsylvania just before pulling out across Clidco Drive. Then it goes through the Poplar Street grade crossing in Mayfield, next it passes the old station at Pike Street in Archbald, then it passes another old station at Church Street in Jessup, next it goes through the South Valley Avenue grade crossing before crossing the Lackawana River trestle in Olyphant, then we see it park at the Von Storch Locomotive Shops in Scranton to give the passengers a shop tour. Next we see it stopped near Maple Street which is as far south as the trip goes. While waiting for the return trip, we see some other ALCO's doing some local freight work into the "Steamtown" yard. Now we see the OCS train coming back, with it's power reversed. Finally we see it come back through the trestle over the Lackawana River near South Valley Avenue in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. This is the end of the chase for this video because not only did the train go back through the same spots we saw it come down through, but the constant rain, plus a couple instances of incorrect/misleading information made for a long miserable day. Sorry the chase video didn't come out better with more spots and some better shots.
