VEGETABLE NOODLES

Noodles - 250g
Cabbage
Carrot
Capsicum
Green chilly - 2 or as per taste
Onion - ½ of 1
Garlic - 3 big cloves
Soya sauce - 3 ½ tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Sugar - ½ tsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Chilly flakes - to taste or 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp + 4 tbsp
Salt - to taste


Hi my dear friends, today I am here with the recipe of easy vegetable noodles..

First, to cook noodles, bring some water to a boil in a pan and add some salt to taste and a tbsp of oil..once the water starts to boil, add the noodle cakes into the water and cook until it’s three by fourth done..

Once the noodles are three by fourth done, drain off the excess water and add another tablespoon of oil to it, shake it well and set aside..

Once the noodles are cooked and ready, prepare the sauce to add to the noodles by mixing three and half tablespoons of soy sauce, a tablespoon of vinegar, a tablespoon of honey, half a teaspoon of sugar and some chilli flakes to taste.

Next, keep the vegetables to add to the noodles ready, thinly sliced.. I am using cabbage, carrot, capsicum, onion and green chilies today.

Keep everything ready before you start to prepare the noodles.

First, heat 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a pan and add three chopped garlic cloves and sauté until it turns brown.

One the garlic starts to change colour to brown, add finely chopped onion and sauté again.

As the onions start to change colour, add the prepared sauce and mix well on a high flame until the oil starts to separate from the sauces.

Once the oil starts to separate, add the finely chopped vegetables along with green chilies.

Sauté the vegetables well for around a minute or so and add the cooked noodles, to it and mix everything well with a fork.

Taste and add more salt if required.. keep in mind that the soya sauce will contain a considerable amount of salt.

Give everything a good toss and the noodles is now ready to be served..

Never leave the noodles in the same pan once it’s cooked, else it will turn dry.
