Mt. Sneffels (14,150') 8.8.23. Despite being pretty tired from the summit attempt of Longs Peak the day prior and the roughly 6 hour drive to Montrose, I woke up early and set out for a day hike of Mt. Sneffels. Beautiful day and a fun hike. Small class 3 move at the top titled "the V notch" added some interest and the summit gave a beautiful view of the San Juans. Hard to imagine a day in the San Juan wilderness that would disappoint in scenery. God bless the USA.
