This video a small lesson on how to create a GSD file of your I-Device, to enable a cross-project PROFINET IO network.
You will learn how to create a GSD file of your I-Device station with or without possibility to assign the device name.

GSD - Generic Station Description.
IO controller is a PLC, CNC, robot control or motion controller. It controls automation tasks.
IO device is a distributed field device. It is linked to IO controller via PROFINET IO.
I device, or inteligent IO device allows simple and fast communication between two PROFINET IO devices. It is a controller linked to higher level controller.
