Cayton Bay, Scarborough New Year - Our Motorhome Travels

Seeing a break in the weather meant we checked the CAMC app first late availability and set off to Cayton Bay near Scarborough, Yorkshire.

Fantastic newly modernised site with lots of pitches to choose from. There is a building site next door but this was closed over Christmas.

Unfortunately die to early school schedules wee were only abe to stop a weekend and missed out on the New Year’s Eve party the wardens were putting together and the awful weather cut short a planned trip to Scarborough town.

A short walk to the village where there are a couple of pubs, chip shop and store. McCain chip factory is also near the site which we did notice.

About a 20 minute walk to the beach and down a steep path, buses stop right outside the site.

Another site we would love to come back to.
